This week at the dojo…
We are working on leading, not to be confused with kicking back and following.. Leading in Aikido involves a very attentive Nage because if you aren’t paying attention to Uke you will be fighting to maintain connection and move in to the practice at hand. So, don’t forget in order to lead you need to listen!

Breakdown-
Principle: Leading
Technique: Ryokatate dori
Ukemi: Following nage
Weapons: Tanto dori
“Begin – to begin is half the work, let half still remain; again begin this, and thou wilt have finished.”
~Marcus Aurelius

Free comic day is just around the corner! While we are not positive if we are performing at the local shop we are still encouraging all dojo members and their families to patronize their favorite comic shops. Many of us will be at Maximum Comics on Marks and Sunset, Saturday, May 6th,  and hope you will be too!
