Momentum

Momentum!

Humans are made of mass and in Aikido we certainly have velocity, but today we are talking about mental momentum. The ability to continue to strive for those goals we set at the beginning of the year. Many of our students came in and wrote their goals in calligraphy to help them visualize them year around. This week we are headed back to those goals by focusing on a few techniques that are filled with little details to help your mental and physical momentum take you to your next training level. See you all on the mat!
Principle: Momentum
Technique: Irimi Nage, Kaiten Nage & Kotegaishi
Ukemi: Shikko
Weapons:  1-4 Jo Suburi, 1-3 Kumi Jo & Jo Dori
