gentle yoga

Gentle Yoga    This class is designed for people who are new to yoga or just getting back to the mat. This gentle practice moves through warm ups, breathing practices, standing, reclined poses and relaxation. Gentle muscle conditioning and stretching help develop core strength, coordination, flexibility and balance.  Poses are shown with modifications for all levels and abilities.

Come in and move through balance, toning, relaxing and rejuvenating poses. All with a slow and gentle pace to allow you to gain the
most benefits from your morning yoga practice.

 

recovery yoga

Recovery Yoga    Are you active? A runner, martial artist or climber? Do you have aches or pains? This class is for you! Recovery yoga focuses on putting your body back together so you can continue to do the activities you love.

Stretch, lunge, flow and balance while you open up your body to the benefits of yoga. This class is uses active stretches and passive practices to help you balance out your body to help you recover for your favorite activities. Poses use your own body weight and props to slowly and gently help your body recover.

Level: Beginner to advanced

 

Flow

Flow    Time to move! Vinyasa or Flow classes are focused on building your flexibility, strength, balance and knowledge of yoga poses. Beginner and advanced students alike will expand on yoga poses to improve mind and body.

Come in and expand your knowledge as we progress through poses in mindful motion. Sun salutations and linking poses will get your body in a rhythm;  increasing your flexibility, core strength, balance, posture, overall mood as well as many other physical and emotional benefits. All poses and practices have modifications to address all abilities and physical levels.

 Level: All levels, no experience necessary

Yin-Yoga pose

Yin Yoga  Targets the connective tissues and the joints of the body that are normally not exercised in a more active style of asana practice. Suitable for everyone, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic yoga, Aikido or other activities that stress the muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Level: All levels
